Hi friends,

I think that from the start, everyone had always thought that a get-together
for our
university batch would be a great but we had no way of contalting each other. so,
on 27th March 2017, I decided to create a Facebook group
for our bitrh, with only a
couple of friends to begin with before slowly adding everyone else.

The first 2 weeks were mostly admin work, waiting
for enough people to join and
starting the process with the help of lossey, Kennts (Jood),
rciiuu)uigom, Ravinthi-
ran and Risha. A very big thanks to these peoplefor helping with the start-up.
After that, I tried to contact members
from our batch in Sri-Lanka to inform them
about the get-together. Poologarajah and vimal were a very big hetp with arrange-
ments in sri-Lanka and created a committeefor this. The piesidint iytlri, committee

is Ravichandran and all the other members of this group put in a lot of work to make
this a success.

After deciding the dates
for this get-together all over the world (UK, Canada and
sri-Lanka), our
friends made small meet-ups to help support this. This includes the
people who were unable to come to the get1ogethrr; ,, iod their
full support.
we also wanted to create a magazinefor this occasion and Mathavy,
feyendran and
Kalpana took control of publication
for this. Vimal said right awiy'that he would
take care of printing
for this magazine without hesitation. I would like to say a big
thank you to all of the magazine teamfor making swe it ran smoothly.

Thank you to everyone behind-the-scenes as well as people who were giving ideas
and to everyone who helped with organising donations and printing of t-shirts and

the magazine - everyone was very cooperative and gave their own ideas to make this
a very successful project, so thank you to everyone.

I hope that the get-together on the 27th
luty 20tB will be a huge success and that
everyone will enjoy themselves. I hope that we witt all remain very close
friends in
the near and
far future.
